Hello, I’m Juanita! I’ve always cared deeply about how things feel, the warmth of good lighting, the calm of a beautiful space, and the small details that make an experience feel truly intentional. Based in Seattle, I created Velvet Booth Co. for clients who value refined design with a timeless, vintage touch.
I’m endlessly creative (ideas follow me everywhere, even into my dreams) and naturally detail-oriented. I notice when something feels slightly off, and I love the process of fine-tuning it until everything feels cohesive, elevated, and welcoming.
At the heart of what I do is a simple goal: make people feel good. From thoughtfully styling a setup to helping guests feel confident in front of the camera, I’m here to create an experience that’s effortless, beautiful, and memorable, one that makes you pause, smile, and want to keep it forever.

We aren’t an ordinary photo booth. Our process begins with understanding your vision, aesthetic, and goals for your event or brand. Once we have that information, we carefully plan and style well-ahead the day of the event, providing a seamless experience.
Every experience is designed with the same level of attention as a studio portrait session rather the standard rentals you receive when working with another company. From the lighting to the composition to the personalized photo strip design, our focus is on creating a memorable experience for you, one that feels timeless.
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all setup. Each experience is curated to enhance the already carefully executed atmosphere for the event you are hosting or the brand you want to highlight.
